ซีเนดีน ซีดาน มีชื่อเต็มว่า ซีเนดีน ยาซีด ซีดาน มีชื่อเล่นว่า ซีซู เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 23 มิถุนายน ปีคริสตศักราช 1972 ที่เมืองมาร์กเซย ประเทศฝรั่งเศส เคยเป็นนักฟุตบอลอาชีพ ในตำแหน่งกองกลางตัวรุก ผ่านการค้าแข้ง ให้กับสโมสรยักษ์ใหญ่ มาแล้วมากมาย 

ไม่ว่าจะเป็น บอร์กโดซ์ , ยูเวนตุส , เรอัลมาดริด แถมยังเป็นกำลังสำคัญ ในการพาทีมชาติฝรั่งเศส ไปคว้าแชมป์ฟุตบอลโลก 1998 และแชมป์ฟุตบอลยูโร 2000 อีกด้วย ได้รับการยกย่อง จากแฟนบอลทั่วโลก ให้เป็นหนึ่งในกองกลางตัวรุก ที่มีฝีเท้ายอดเยี่ยมที่สุดในโลก 

แต่น่าเสียดาย ที่เจ้าตัวต้องปิดฉาก เส้นทางการเป็นนักฟุตบอลอาชีพ แบบไม่สวยหรูเท่าไรนัก หลังไปใช้ศีรษะ โขกเข้าใส่หน้าอกของ มาร์โก มาเตรัซซี ต่อมาเขาได้ไปเอาดีด้านการเป็น ผู้จัดการทีม แทน และได้เริ่มเส้นทางการคุมทีม เป็นครั้งแรก 

กับ เรอัลมาดริด กัสติยา หรือทีมเยาวชน ของทัพราชันชุดขาว เรอัล มาดริด อดีตต้นสังกัดเก่า สมัยที่ยังเป็นนักฟุตบอลอาชีพ ในปีคริสตศักราช 2014 และเส้นทางการเป็น ผู้จัดการทีม ของ ซีเนดีน ซีดาน ก็ได้เริ่มต้นขึ้นหลังจากนั้นเป็นต้นมา

ถึงแม้ว่าผลงาน การกลับมาคุมทัพราชันชุดขาว เรอัล มาดริด เป็นคำรบที่สองของ ซีเนดีน ซีดาน จะไม่ได้ยอดเยี่ยม เหมือนกับครั้งแรก แต่เขาก็ยังสามารถพาทีมคว้าแชมป์ลาลีกา ในฤดูกาล 2019-2020 ที่ผ่านมาได้สำเร็จ
